Londonderry Arms Hotel

A charming traditional hotel in the small coastal village on the Antrim coast road 14 miles north of Larne and less than an hour from Belfast. A reputation for good home-cooked food, simply and freshly prepared from local produce.

The hotel was built in 1848 as a coaching inn by Lady Londonderry. Her great grandson, Sir Winston Churchill, inherited in 1921. The O'Neill family have owned and managed the hotel since 1946 with its old world charm and has a reputation for good food. Chef Manus Jamieson specialises in fresh seafood and modern Irish cooking. Listed in the Taste of Ulster Guide. Awarded Commend Hotel in Northern Ireland Tourism Awards 2008.

Watercolour Painting Workshop

Paul Holmes is a well known artist with his work in galleries throughout Ireland. Paul's workshops and classes are very popular with a mix of humour and good teaching. So if you or a friend would like a fun filled, hard working art break then book this treat which has become one of the added attractions of a stay at the Londonderry Arms Hotel, on the famous Antrim Coast.

The class will suit both experienced artists and those who are new to watercolour painting. Early booking advisable.

1 night bed and breakfast, 1 lunch and dinner, tuition fee, tea/coffee and painting demonstration - £90 per person sharing

2 nights bed and breakfast, 2 lunches and 2 dinners, tuition fee, tea/coffee and painting demonstration - £175 per person sharing

Non Resident

In the Wild West, a man who thinks he owns this town of Dead Gulch is trying to railroad the railroad through everyone's property, and he doesn't care whom he offends. Deke Slayton is his name, while Miss Nelly Sky owns the saloon, where a stranger is back in town. It's Moose Morris, the miner, and he knows well Purity Fawcett, the girl who his old rival Pat Fawcett's daughter. A pity that Pat was a no-good Irish drunk. Meanwhile the reverend Zachariah Smith is selling his spiritual message while the sheriff is out of town.

How's your Stetson? Which way does your bandana dress? Are those boots made for walking? Are you fully loaded? Dress down to impress, as this saloon entertains all types just visiting, but not everyone will leave alive.
