Lough Ash

Lough Ash is situated in the picturesque countryside of Dunamanagh. The lake is stocked exclusively with brown trout. Over the past two years larger trout were used for stocking with the view to providing the angler with more rewarding catches. Becauseof the dangerous bank, the western shore is closed to anglers and the short eastern end is inaccessible because of reeds. The northern and southern shores supply spacious wading areas. Perimeter stiles and footbridges from the car-park give unrestricted access to the fishing areas. For further information contact NM Fishing Tackle, Tel. (028) 8165 9501.
