Loughgall Country Park Angling

Loughall Country Park Lake has a 4 metre shelf, which drops off to an average depth of 17 feet (up to 30 feet in places). Noteworthy catches to date - pike 23Ibs, 18Ibs and numerous at approx 8/9Ibs. Perch 3Ib 2oz, 2Ib 2oz. Tench 6Ib 7oz. Eels to 3Ib. Roach to 1Ib 9oz. Lake was used as a venue for Aughnacloy Classic Competition. Top weight 16kg off peg 12.

All lawful methods of fishing are allowed but fish must be returned to the water. No live baiting, barb less/semi-barb less for pikes. A daily permit is available from the on site shop for £3, a yearly permit costs £25. A DCAL Angling Licence is required for persons aged 12 and over.
