This lovely,open-plan 2-bedroom cottage is located in a quiet rural area just 1 mile from the spectacular Gosford Park and 6 miles from Armagh city. The 200 year old cottage has been tastefully restored and is extremely cosy with both wood burning stove and oil fired central heating. It comprises a fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher and microwave, separate utility room, spacious living room with TV and DVD player, and 2 large ensuite bedrooms. The accommodation is very spacious throughout making it perfect for families or groups of friends looking for a break in the countryside. There is an extensive garden for the kids to play in and a huge range of outdoor activities such as zip-wire, archery and high ropes available onsite, you won’t have to go too far to keep everyone entertained!

The large garden surrounding the cottage includes picnic tables, children's swings and gas BBQ (on request) and offers panoramic views of 7 mountain ranges. The accommodation's rural location makes it an ideal spot for a relaxing break in this beautiful part of Northern Ireland, whilst at the same time providing an excellent base from which to explore other areas. Previous guests have used the cottage as a central base from which to visit other areas including Armagh (10 mins), Newry (20 mins), Belfast (1 hr) and Dublin (1.5 hrs).

For visitors who like to keep busy, there are a range of activities available both onsite and in the surrounding area. Outdoor activities such as 375m zip-wire, archery, high ropes course and raftbuilding are all on offer at our nearby Lurgaboy Adventure Centre (1/2 mile) and are very popular with both children and adults! Outdoor karting and pony trekking can also be arranged in the local area. The city of Armagh is full of history and places of interest include the historically unique Navan Fort, stunning national trust properties, unmatched Georgian architecture and two Saint Patrick's Cathedrals. The city also has a selection of restaurants including Australian, French and Indian cuisine.
