Marconi Festival Day 2014

03 August
This annual event marks the work of Marconi, Kemp and Granville in 1898 when the world's first commercial signal was sent from Rathlin Island to Ballycastle across water.

This is the 14th year that the event will be held and organised by the Marconi Radio Group. The club will be sending signals across the world on this day from the seafront in memory of the work of the great Marconi that was pioneered in Ballycastle and Rathlin.
