What a year for Graeme McDowell! After claiming his first major championship with a superb win at the 110th US Open Championship at Pebble Beach he went on to clinch the winning point taking Europe to victory at The Ryder Cup. To end the year on a high, McDowell overhauled a four-shot deficit on Tiger Woods before beating the American on the first play-off hole to win the Chevron World Challenge.
"2010 has been the stuff of dreams," the Portrush golfer said. 'Its just been an amazing year, I can't say enough about it,' said McDowell, who triumphed in the US Open at Pebble Beach in June. 'This is dream stuff, playing one of the greatest golfers who has ever played and to beat him like this, I'm just ecstatic.' McDowell commented.
