Join us for an unforgettable experience in the beautiful Mourne Mountains as we recreate a fantastic tradition by journeying the 22 miles and 10000 feet along the impressive granite structure that is The Mourne Wall. As with the original event, the challenge is to complete the journey within 12 hrs and will remain so for the walking category, however, in addition to the traditional walking challenge this year sees the addition of our new running category.
We're really excited, that with the support of many, not least NI Water we have the opportunity to bring back a phenomenal tradition that started as far back as 1957. We're also really excited that with your support we can create a truly sustainable event that can continue to benefit future generations.
This year, while the events Charity Beneficiaries are the Mourne Heritage Trust and the Mourne Mountain Rescue Team, we do not have a main Event Charity Partner. Thus leaving you to decide if you wish to use the event to raise funds and if so, which Charity you choose to benefit.
