Culture Programme

EHOD weekend has always been a celebration of tangible culture: buildings, monuments, designed landscapes and artefacts.

However this EHOD2013 in celebration of this year’s City of Culture well deserved achievement, we’ve taken on Culture as our theme giving us the opportunity to celebrate even more intangible cultural heritage in the form of folklore, traditions, language, music, literature, and works of art.

Storytellers, poets, artists, performers, writers and more are putting on events especially for EHOD weekend, bringing venues to life in the City of Culture 2013 and all over Northern Ireland. Not to mention the special additions of new and contemporary ways to celebrate and enjoy our built heritage.
