Royal Society of Ulster Architects

EHOD2013 is proud to be celebrating a new partner and the addition of nine new properties as well as guided tours for this EHOD Weekend; the Royal Society of Ulster Architects in Northern Ireland.

A word from the RSUA:

“Recent years have witnessed a renaissance in architecture in Northern Ireland. In 2011 An Gaeláras by O’Donnell and Tuomey Architects in Derry~Londonderry was the first building in Northern Ireland to be shortlisted for the RIBA Stirling Prize.

This was followed in 2012 by the Lyric Theatre by the same architects. 2013 saw a record 11 buildings in Northern Ireland shortlisted for the RIBA Awards. The RSUA have selected a small sample of buildings which demonstrate the excellent contribution today’s architects continue to make to Northern Ireland’s built heritage, whether it be through sensitive intervention, careful expansion, or restoration of our existing wealth of buildings or through the design of award winning new buildings. We hope you enjoy your weekend.”
