From re-enactments and medieval fairs at historic castles to archaeology demonstrations, watch history come to life and learn about times gone by at some of our most iconic buildings and monuments.

If nature is more your thing, you’ll love the seasonal events aimed at smaller groups including bat nights and bird walks, seal watching, photography, painting and guided nature walks and talks in stunning locations.

Edward Bruce 700 Festival, Carrickfergus

To commemorate the crowning of Edward Bruce as King of Ireland in 1315, the Ulster Scots Agency and Carrickfergus Borough Council in partnership with the Department of the Environment are hosting the Bruce Festival 2015 on 30 and 31 May.

Open Day at Grey Point Fort, Helen's Bay,

Open Day at Grey Point Fort with Living History representatives of the British, German and Russian WW2 armies, complete with uniform and respective weapons. Also a display of D Company military vehicles.
