Permanent Home Front Exhibition
This exhibition tells the story of Northern Ireland during the war including: the air raids of Belfast, the arrival of the American and Belgian Forces, wartime production of ships and aircraft, the Battle of the Atlantic, the Ulster Home Guard, Ulster regiments in overseas war theatres, the role of women and the effects of the war on the Republic of Ireland.
The story is told using photographs, letters and artefacts. There is also a touch screen presentation that covers 24 different subjects relating to the Second World War.
