One Summer's Day 2011: Winning Entries
Earlier in the year NITB and the Belfast Telegraph asked everyone to become a photographer for the day, and we are now pleased to announce the winners!
Participants in the second annual One Summer's Day contest could choose what to snap in their Summery shot, from bounding pets to picnics in the countryside, a fun day out or a hidden neighbourhood gem.
The only requirement was that all photographs had to be taken in Northern Ireland on one particular day - Saturday 18 June - to qualify. The competition aimed to create a unique snapshot of how the region looked that day.
Entries were split into three categories: primary school children, secondary school children and adults. The winners of each category receive a five-star family break in Northern Ireland, with the top 100 photographs featuring in a commemorative supplement in the Belfast Telegraph.
Winning Entries
Primary school category winner: Aidan Kilmartin (age 8)

Secondary school category winnner: Kathryn Hamilton (age 16)

Adult category winner: Robert Henry (age 47)

Congratulations to all three winners and thank you to everyone who shared their photos with us.
