Oregano is situated in an old country house setting, dating back to 1902 in the County Antrim village of Ballyrobert, on the outskirts of Belfast. Established in 2005 husband and wife team, Dermot and Catherine Regan have been serving modern Irish food with an European influence in this award-winning venue for three years.
Oregano is committed to using locally grown and sourced produce in its ever changing menu that may include signature dishes such as a starter of seared smoked scallops and bacon with crispy garlic, parsley butter and fine shoots, to chargrilled rump of Finnebrogue venison as main course and finishing off with a decadent home made chocolate parfait with a dark chocolate and griottine cherry fudge.
The Regan’s commitment to providing top class food and service has landed them a Michelin Bib Gourmand for the 7th year in a row in 2015.
