A semi-detached cottage nestled in the western end of White Park Bay in the old fishing hamlet of Portbraddan. Acquired by the National Trust in 1994, much of the existing building dates to the turn of the 20th century but represents rebuilding on the footprint of an earlier 1850's structure. Views from the cottage encompass all of the bays beautiful beach and dunes and extend out across the sea to the western cliffs of Rathlin Island. Excellent location for fishing and birdwatching. The garden is a very rare example of an Irish coastal cottage garden with a naturalised community of costal loving plants. Please refer to the National Trust website (www.nationaltrustcottages.co.uk) for prices.
