Quality & Assurance Golf Clubs

The Northern Ireland Tourist Board has congratulated twenty five golf clubs from across Northern Ireland for their commitment to providing the best visitor experience.

The Golf Quality and Assurance awards set out to raise the bar when it came to standards at golf clubs, with a particular focus on customer service. NITB are working with Fáilte Ireland on the implementation of this quality and assurance scheme.

Alan Clarke, NITB Chief Executive commented: “Seeing some of our best clubs sign up to this scheme is surely a sign of the golf industry’s commitment to providing the best visitor experience for all visitors."

This scheme sets out to establish minimum standards for the golf industry so that visitors are experiencing consistency at every step of their visit, from arrival at the carpark, the welcome and reception they receive, clubhouse facilities and services as well as standards on the golf course. This means that we will not only deliver standards of excellence to visitors, but also work to exceed the expectations of our visitors.

The successful clubs are: Royal Co Down GC, Royal Portrush GC, Portstewart GC, Malone GC, Galgorm Castle GC, Ardglass GC, Radisson Blu Roe Park Resort, Kilkeel GC, Ballycastle GC, Rockmount GC, Tandragee GC, Hilton Templepatrick GC, Lough Erne Resort, Kirkistown Castle GC, Castlerock GC, Royal Belfast GC, Clandeboye GC, Foyle Golf Centre, Lisburn GC, Dungannon GC, Warrenpoint GC, Bangor GC, Holywood GC, Belvoir GC, Scrabo GC.
