Belfast’s only full-time provider of non-mainstream cinema, QFT shows the very best in new and classic world cinema. It now boasts two screens, a spacious new bar and modern lounge with air conditioning.
It was the first cinema in Belfast to present the films of Quentin Tarantino, the Coen Brothers, Krystof Kieslowski, Steven Soderbergh and many others.
QFT also became the first cinema in Northern Ireland to install a digital projector, meaning that it can now screen state-of-the-art high definition digital films as well as standard celluloid films.
Becoming a member of QFT offers a number of exclusive benefits including £2.50 off every film you see at QFT, the QFT Film Guide delivered to your door and an invitation to the QFT annual Members' Day every December.
QFT runs an Education and Outreach programme, including film talks and discussions, introduced screenings, workshops and short courses for all ages, as well as a comprehensive programme of screenings and workshops for primary and post-primary schools.
The cinema is accessible to people with disabilities running access screenings featuring audio enhancement, audio description and on-screen captioning. QFT is also available for daytime hire during the week and at weekends.
You can book tickets in one of three ways - through the website, in person at QFT or by telephone on 028 90971097 after 6pm. QFT is open seven days a week, from 6pm until late. They also offer matinee screenings at 2.30pm every Wednesday.
