River Roe

The River Roe, rising in the Sperrins, flows for over 50 kilometres through Dungiven and the Roe Valley and is a medium spate river that offers good runs of brown &sea trout and salmon. The season runs from the 20th May - 20th October with good catches of sea trout recorded from late June. Salmon fishing is best from late August onwards particularly in spate conditions in the mid section of the river. Licensing is available from the following outlets:
