Rope Bridge cottage is a traditional style whitewashed cottage situated on the beautiful Causeway Coast, just 10 minutes from the famous Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. The cottage boasts beautiful sea views of Rathlin Island and is a short walk from the quaint village of Ballintoy with its traditional pubs, turf fires and fine Ulster cuisine.

The two bedroomed cottage has all modern facilities including a washer/dryer, oil fired central heating, shower room and wood burning stove. The cottage also has an outdoor bar-b-que and picnic table area with a small garden to the side featuring ever changing views of Rathlin Island and the Atlantic Ocean.

The cottage is a perfect spot for couples who enjoy walking, fishing, bird watching and exploring the delights of the Antrim Coast.

You will find a perfect getaway for cosy winter breaks or sunny summer stays.

Location / Directions

From Ballycastle seafront - Start on Clare Road. Follow on to Quay Road roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto Quay Road - A2 signposted Portrush, Bushmills. Turn right onto Maghery Road - A2. Follow this road until you take a right turn onto Whitepark Road - B15 signposted Ballintoy. Turn left onto Harbour Road and approx 500 yards turn left at the milk churns onto a narrow lane. Go 50 yards up the lane and turn right at the wooden fence. Rope Bridge cottage is 12a and is on the right hand side.

From Bushmills - At roundabout Main Street, Bushmills take the 2nd exit A2 to Ballycastle. Continue forward past Whitepark Bay towards Ballintoy. Harbour Road is on the left just as you enter the village of Ballintoy. Turn left onto Harbour Road and approx 500 yards turn left at milk churns onto a narrow lane. Go 50 yards up the lane and turn right at the wooden fence. Rope Bridge cottage is 12a and is on the right hand side.
