St Patrick's Day Celebrations!, Downpatrick

Come along to the museum for a great day of family entertainment. Featuring Irish
dancing, traditional and folk music, storytelling, circus style entertainment, clowns,
acrobats and jugglers. The museum’s event is one of the highlights of St Patrick’s
Day with a fun filled programme for all ages. Exhibitions and shop open
throughout the day.

In the Footsteps of St Patrick, Downpatrick

The Peace 111 Funded exhibition display explores local sites, monuments and archaeological discoveries linked to the early missionary work of St Patrick and his followers.

Shamrock Shenanigans, Moneymore, Magherafelt

With free entry for anyone who can prove they are called Patrick, this is sure to be a fine way to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day.  Discover the Shamrock Trail around the grounds and enjoy crafts, food and music.

St Patrick's Week Conference, Downpatrick

Crosses, Millstones and Quarries: The geology of Early Christian Down. The conference will include a number of morning talks, an afternoon bus tour of local sites and lunch. Pre-booking essential. Please bring suitable footwear and raincoat.

Voices of Ireland, Downpatrick

The Cathedral welcomes John Anderson and the Voices of Ireland who will be giving a recital in honour of our national Saint. It is a lovely blend of sacred and secular music, ranging from popular songs of today to some of the most beautiful and best loved Irish melodies ever written.

St Patrick's Cross: Rediscovery and Reconstruction, Downpatrick
