Guest accommodation situated on Shore Road, 1.5 miles outside the picturesque village of Strangford described as a bijou seaside bedsit retreat giving views from every room of Strangford Lough and out to the Irish Sea. Open plan with double bed, living space includes sofa bed, gas stove, compact dining table and chairs, kitchenette and shower room. The kitchenette is small but functional with a refrigerator, counter top oven, portable ceramic hob, sink, toaster, kettle and crockery etc.
It’s a great base for walkers, cyclists, canoeing, kayaking or a relaxing stay to enjoy Strangford Lough and surrounding areas. It’s close to Castle Ward estate (Game of Thrones and Winterfell tours); Kilclief Castle; Ballyhornan beach; grey seals on Seal Island or bird watching at Cloghy Rocks Natural Nature Reserve both across from the cabin.
Strangford village has local shops, pubs, restaurants and ferry terminal across to Portaferry.
Although the accommodation ideally suits 2 guests there is also a sofa double bed.
