Six Mile Water

The Six Mile Water is a medium sized river (5-20m) with a good head of wild brown trout which are best fished from April to June. The river is best known for its Dollaghen which is best from August to the end of the season. Salmon are also caught at this time of year. Fishing is fly only until the 1st September when spinning and worming are also allowed. Alan Kirkpatrick (028) 9446 7962/07710 615077) supplies a ghillie service at £50/day.

Day Tickets - There is no limit onthe number of day tickets which run from 8.30am to 11.30pm. Tickets are £3.00/rod/day from 1 March-30 June, £5.00/rod/day from 1 July-31 August, £8.00/rod/day from 1 September-31 October. The fishing is from Doagh Road Bridge to Lough Neagh.
