Two bathrooms. (One bathroom and one bedroom downstairs). Large dining room, comfortable sitting room, full central heating, open fire and Wi-Fi.

Situated on Strangford Lough, it is in a prime location for exploring this area of outstanding natural beauty, whether on foot, bicycle or car. Within easy reach are National Trust properties, golf courses, pubs and restaurants, beaches, adventure centres and the Mourne Mountains. Something for everyone.

Location / Directions

Situated at the mouth of Strangford Lough, 2.5 miles from Strangford, 10 miles from Downpatrick, 30 miles from Belfast and 105 miles (170 km) from Dublin.

From Belfast (journey time 1 hr approx.): A7 to Downpatrick, then A25 to Strangford

Turn right in Strangford village and follow the A2 Shore Road for 2.5 miles to Kilclief. The Beach House is on the left hand side just before Kilclief Castle. There is a tight turn into the property, but If you miss it you can turn in the beach car park. When on the property drive past the cottage and park in the parking place on its far side.

From Dublin (journey time 2.5 hrs approx): N1 towards Belfast, at Newry take A25 towards Downpatrick and on to Strangford and Kilclief as above.
