The Hayloft is a luxury apartment on the idyllic Island destination of Rathlin. The apartment comprises of a bed / lounge area, kitchen, and bathroom. We think it has some of the finest views across the water to Northern Ireland.
Famous for its walks, flora and fauna, it is host to the RSPB reserve which is just a few minutes’ walk away. Whether you want a romantic weekend away, walking, astronomy, fishing, diving, bird watching, then ‘The Hayloft’ is probably the best location to stay. You can also find the local shop, tea room, post office and bars / restaurants down at the harbour which is (approx. 2 miles). Nearby Leisure - Kebble Nature Reserve and the RSPB West Light Seabird Centre. The Island is also a good location for Astronomy (Very little artificial light).
There is a very warm welcome awaiting you at the Hayloft.

Location / Directions
From the Ferry terminal turn left and walk, drive or cycle along the Quay past the Café to the Church. Turn right and walk up the hill. At the top bear left around a sharp bend and proceed along this road for approximately 2 miles enjoying the spectacular coastal views along the way. ‘The Hayloft’ is next to a bungalow on the right hand side of the road and is stone built with two red doors.
Cars are allowed on the Island if you are staying for 6 days or more. An alternative is the Puffin bus which is available at the ferry terminal and runs during the morning and afternoon during the summer (please check and book if you can 07714 959 245 £5 return).
