The Lodge at Pilgrim Cottage

Situated some 4 miles inland from the small town of Ballycastle, in a tranquil rural location, beside a National Forest and on a National Cycle Route. It is a purpose-built, single-storey, self-contained, self-catering unit. The Lodge is a no smoking facility.

It is the ideal hideaway for those seeking to step aside from the hurly-burly of 21st century living - and find PEACE! - whilst being within easy reach of the scenic Causeway Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Coast offers stunning scenery, sailing, way-marked walks, golf courses, sandy beaches and surfing for the real enthusiast!

Accommodation includes a large double bedroom with king-sized bed, en-suite bathroom with double-ended bath with shower over. The compact living space consists of a fully-fitted designer kitchen-diner and living area. A sofa bed (double) allows extra sleeping space for adults/children. The kitchen is equipped with a double-oven electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Full central heating is provided plus electric fires. A 26" flat-screen TV, plus DVD player, are provided; the TV has 3 HDMI sockets plus computer and camera-card sockets.

A free welcome pack is provided and extra ‘arrival’ shopping can be arranged, at cost.

The outlook is completely rural, with open fields to the rear and forest to the front. Garden furniture, BBQ and a summer-house are available for the use of guests.

As a self-catering enterprise, we do not offer breakfast but, if requested, a breakfast pack may be purchased for self-catering.
