Turner Prize 2013,Derry/Londonderry

The City of Culture Celebrations in 2013 will see Derry-Londonderry host the Turner Prize, the most important event in the UK's contemporary calendar. This will be only the third time that this prestigious event has been moved away from Tate Britain and the first time it has been held outside England. The Turner prize exhibition usually attracts between 70-90,000 visitors.
