A unique array of 20 historic aircraft and exhibits celebrating Northern Ireland’s aviation heritage. See commercial, Cold War and World War 2 aircraft, stroll among the displays, observe restorations in progress in a historic hangar. It’s all the work of a small army of enthusiasts, dedicated since 1968 to rebuilding and preserving an impressive collection of airplanes, helicopters and aviation artefacts.
Location: Halftown Road, off the A3 (Moira Road) at the western edge of Lisburn, in the new Balmoral Park development site at Maze/Long Kesh.

To arrange a group tour of the hangar collection, contact the Ulster Aviation Society by telephone or e-mail. Unfortunately, the collection is not open to casual visitors. Group visits are limited during the months of December, January and February, due to winter conditions. Prices:Admission charges are scaled according to group size, e.g. up to 10 visitors £30, 31 to 40 visitors £90, cash or cheque to be paid on the day of your visit.
