Upper Bann And Tributaries

The Upper Bann is a medium (5-20m) sized river with good head of brown trout which are often at their best in the summer (June & July) evenings. The best chance for salmon or dollaghen is after a spate during August & September. Fly fishing, spinning & worming are all permitted and there is a 3 fish per bag day limit. A ghillie service can be arranged with prior notice. All fish under 12 inches (300mm) must be returned and a limit of 2 salmon per day.

There are an unlimited number of day tickets available at £5/rod/day.
