Wildlife Photography Workshop

02 July
Join local photographer Nigel Snell for an introduction to the wildlife at Belfast’s Window on Wildlife and how best to capture it on camera. The event will include a short indoor session, followed by hands-on guidance in the observation room and hides.

The RSPB NI nature reserve is home to all sorts of wonderful wildlife, from godwits to goldfinches, all of which are just waiting to be the star of your snaps.

If you’ve never been to Belfast WOW before, you’ll be amazed by the wildlife that makes it home in the bustling Harbour Estate. With the Harland and Wolff cranes as a stunning backdrop, dozens of different types of birds can be spotted here all year round. The reserve is also home to a herd of hardy konik ponies, which munch the ground into the perfect condition for all sorts of wildlife, and are a firm favourite with visitors.

Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended. Note that no camera equipment is provided and this event isn't suitable for under 16s . Please bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
