Winners of NI4Kids family awards announced

Educcational franchise Jumping Clay in Stranmillis, Belfast has been voted Family Visitor Attraction of the Year (Small Category) in the recent NI4Kids family awards held at Titanic Belfast.

Ni4Kids editor, Nadia Duncan, said, “Ni4Kids has been running for 10 years now and we felt the time was right to recognise individuals, organisations and companies that go the extra mile for children and families. Jumping Clay was a deserving winner of the Family Visitor Attraction of the Year (Small Category) award and we warmly congratulate them for their ongoing commitment to providing a wonderful experience for families to enjoy together.”

Susie McCullough, Director of Marketing and Events at NITB added, “The Northern Ireland Tourist Board as a category sponsor in the recent Ni4kids awards, would like to congratulate the worthy winners of the small Visitor Attraction of the Year, Jumping Clay from Belfast. Jumping Clay was commended by parents for being ‘relaxing and therapeutic’, having ‘enthusiastic and adaptable’ staff, ‘fantastic for imagination and confidence’ and praise for the venue also included ‘everyone always leaves Jumping Clay with a smile on their faces.’

The award was collected by owners, brothers Rupert and Nick Turkington and was sponsored by NITB. The other two finalists in this category were Ark Open Farm in Newtownards and The White House Visitor Centre in Newtownabbey.

Little Wing Pizzeria in Bangor collected the U.TV Family Restaurant of the Year Award ahead of finalists Ed’s Bar & Grill in Lisburn and La Mon Hotel & Country Club. The Ulster Museum was voted Belfast International Airport Family Visitor Attraction of the Year (Large Category).
