Women & War: Exhibition and Talk

01 July - 31 July
This interesting exhibition highlights the, often overlooked, role of women at the time of the First World War. During the run of this exhibition, Director of the Somme Museum, Carol Walker, will give a talk using the true stories and personal accounts of locally and internationally significant women to illustrate the massive changes in women's roles and rights in the period 1914 - 1918. Please contact Ards Visitor Information Centre for further details or to book your place at the talk.
Part of Ards Borough Council's programme to mark the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
