The original 17th century house on the hill farm, tastefully restored, but retaining the character and features of the traditional stone cottage with a crook and crane fireplace, exposed stonework, quarry tiled floors and half-doors.

Rose cottage has a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting/dining room with comfortable sofas and oak dining table and chairs. It will sleep 4 people comfortably in a double ensuite bedroom and a twin bunkroom. There is also a separate bathroom, with an over-bath shower.
At the front of the cottage is the walled orchard garden where young children can safely play.

The cottage is situated well off the main road on a south-facing wooded hillside which has amazing views across the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man.

Slievemoyle is 1/2 mile from the entrance to the beautiful Castle Ward National Trust Property and 2 miles from the picturesque village of Strangford with its award winning restaurants.
