You don’t need to go far to have a go at scuba diving. Visit Ireland’s only purpose built hovercrafting track at Foyle Hovercrafting and Leisure where you can experience the thrill of gliding over land and water on a cushion of air at speeds of up to 30 mph. The instructors will teach you how to get the best of your hovercraft which can be driven solo or in tandem. You can also try out laser clay pigeon shooting, powerturn buggies and max combat laser skirmish.

North Coast Sea Kayak Trail

This 70 nautical mile route around Ireland's north-east corner offers varieties of rugged scenery and wildlife that are unique. There is something for all kayaking abilities. Beginners can take a guided tour of the trail, learning the basics of paddling whilst taking in the fantastic scenery.

Sea Safari

On the Aquaholics Sea Safari the high speed boat races around the sights of the coast. With space for up to 12 passengers there is room for everyone to join in on the fun. Portrush Sea Tours also offer a range of thrilling tours including a trip to Rathlin Island where you can hop off and explore the island’s seal colony, puffin sanctuary and Bruce's Cave.

Stand-Up Paddleboarding

Have a go at one of the newest crazes for the area - Stand-Up Paddle Boarding (SUP). A fun and easy way of riding a surf board on flat water with a paddle, you can try it out at Troggs' Surf School in Portrush. Beginner sessions for this ancient form of surfing are available for those aged 8 and up.
