Slieve Croob 'Twelve Cairns' Walk

Walking Route
slieve croob
There was once a massive cairn (a manmade mound of stones) on the summit of Slieve Croob. This may have marked a Bronze Age Burial. Unfortunately little remains of this once impressive monument but the local name for the mountain,‘The Twelve Carins’.
