Slieve Gullion Forest Park, Killeavy, Newry

Slieve Gullion has been long associated with myths and legends. Here visitors can walk in the footsteps of Finn McCool and Cu Chulainn. Visitors can also experience a 6000 year old tomb, enjoy the red squirrel walk, or jump around in the playpark.

Castlewellan Forest Park & Peace Maze, Castlewellan

Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor, Newry

The forest features riverside walks and an arboretum. There is a two-mile forest drive to panoramic views over Carlingford Lough. There is also an Information area and cafe.





Tollymore Forest Park, Newcastle

Oak wood from Tollymore Forest Park was used for the interiors of the White Star liners which included the Titanic. A walk along the Shimna River is marked by many curiosities, natural and artificial - rocky outcrops, bridges, grottos and caves.

The Harry Ferguson Memorial Garden is set opposite the Ferguson Homestead and exhibits a life size bronze statue of Harry Ferguson.
