Airline launches cheap flights to Belfast

12 March 2009 -

Airline firm easyJet has unveiled cheap flights for tourists visiting Northern Ireland for St. Patrick's Day.

The airline has released the bargain deals to fly to Belfast International Airport on March 17th, with all prices including taxes, fees and surcharges.

People flying from London can pay as little as £13.99 one way for travel from Stansted, paying more to leave from Gatwick and Luton.

Other flights are offered to the Northern Irish city from Bristol, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Liverpool and Glasgow.

When reaching the city, the airline recommends the John Hewitt Bar in Donegall Street, which it states is "arguably the best bar in Belfast".

However, those who want a quieter night are advised to visit the old and ornate bar of The Morning Star, which is a historically-listed pub.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the St. Patrick's Day celebration in Belfast, which includes a procession through the streets, leaving City Hall at noon.ADNFCR-1859-ID-19070568-ADNFCR
