People who plan to travel in Northern Ireland in the near future should head to a John Dory's Traditional Fish and Chips shop in Belfast, as the company has won a Bridgestone Best in Ireland award, the Belfast Telegraph reports.
In addition to the prize, the firm has been nominated for a position in the Bridgestone Good Food Guide for the quality of its food.
Commenting on the news, Mark Polley, from the company, said the accolade highlights the most impressive eateries in the country and is proud to be named among them.
"The Bridgestone guide is widely recognised as a leading authority on the best places to eat in Ireland. We are delighted to accept the award and would like to thank everyone involved," he told the news provider.
Mr Polley added the new additions to the menu, including pollock and hake, have proved popular with customers.
Those keen on sampling the food in Northern Ireland should add John Dory's Fish and Chips to their list, if they want to sample a top-quality traditional dish.
Last month, Ballymena's Fish and Chicken Inn and the Galley in Newry were recently named as the best fish and chip shops in Northern Ireland, the Belfast Telegraph reports.
