Belfast playwright Martin Lynch has revealed some of his favourite events in Northern Ireland and which ones he is looking forward to attending.
Mr Lynch, who is a founder member of the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival, told Culture Northern Ireland he looks forward to that each May but added there are other shows going on which appeal to him.
He claims Belfast has a plethora of events and festivals taking place which make the city an attractive place to visit.
"The Queen's Festival always has events I want to go to. The West Belfast Festival appeals to different audiences. Nowadays Belfast is served very, very well with great festivals," Mr Lynch told the news provider.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph last year, the playwright said he is keen for the city's Cathedral Quarter to have a unique identity of its own as a cultural destination.
He told the publication his vision is for it to become a "tourist area".
