Dancing on Ice comes to Belfast

Skating legends Torvill and Dean's Dancing on Ice – the Tour will come to the Odyssey Arena in Belfast in May.

The venue will host the spectacle for five performances from May 1st to 3rd, which will be part of the 25th anniversary of the duo's gold medal win for their Bolero routine at the Sarajevo Winter Olympics in 1984.

Participating celebrities will include Kyran Bracken, Todd Carty, Chris Fountain, Melinda Messenger, Roxanne Pallett, Ray Quinn and Suzanne Shaw, with Andi Peters returning as the show's host.

Olympic gold medal winner Robin Cousins will lead the panel of judges and the format of the hit ITV1 show will be replicated with members of the audience able to use their mobile phones to text vote for their favourite dancing couple.

Tomorrow (March 25th), the Odyssey Arena will play host toinfluential country music star Kenny Rogers, who will perform hits including The Gambler, She Believes in Me and Islands in the Stream as part of a one-off performance.
