Newforge House wins prestigious food award

Newforge House, a guesthouse in Magheralin, County Down has recently been awarded Culinary Haven of the Year at the Good Food Ireland Awards in Dublin.

These highly coveted food and tourism awards were presented by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny T.D. at a ceremony attended by 350 guests from agri food and tourism hospitality businesses.

Newforge House says, “It is a wonderful honour to receive Good Food Ireland’s ‘Culinary Haven 2013’ award. We are a small team doing our best to showcase the wonderful ingredients available on our doorstep, so it means a huge amount to have such meaningful recognition from people who share our passion.”
