'Party On Down in Armagh' to celebrate diversity

Fans of music in Northern Ireland will be able to see a host of stars performing when the Party On Down Concert comes to Pairc Esler in Armagh next month.

On August 30th, the event will see Britain's Got Talent stars Escala, X Factor's Eoghan Quigg, Brian Kennedy and The Saw Doctors take to the stage in a show compered by Malachi Cush and Paul McKenna.

The array of entertainment will celebrate diversity and engage the entire local community.

Newry Mayor John Feehan commented: "Our district is developing at a very dramatic rate, the numbers of ethnic minority groups is increasing daily and we want to display our area's commitment to support cultural diversity, and what better way to do this than at a family event in the magnificent Pairc Esler Stadium."

From tomorrow (July 15th), those looking for music events in Northern Ireland will be able to see concerts, sessions, outdoor entertainment and drama performances at the Celtic Fusion festival in Castlewellan, which runs until July 19th.
