An acclaimed local group will be entertaining residents and tourists alike in Carrickfergus this yuletide, as the streets ring out with the sound of festive music in Northern Ireland.
Marking the start of the festive season, the Carrickfergus Seasonal Silver Band will be on hand to entertain shoppers with some familiar favourites and get them in the mood for Christmas.
The performances are taking place in the town centre on December 5th, 12th and 19th, with seasonal music in Northern Ireland set to ring out between 14:00 and 15:00 GMT.
Even the weather cannot dampen spirits, as the band will play indoors at the Carrickfergus Museum and Civic Centre if it rains or snow comes down.
The Christmas season will begin in earnest in Carrickfergus tonight (November 20th), as the Christmas lights are switched on and a spectacular fireworks display is taking place.
