Join us for a Full Moon Paddle on Strangford Lough this April. The pink moon is unique to witness from the water and no better place to do so, than from a kayak, SUP or canoe on a flat sea.
In astrology, the April full moon is called the Pink Moon, because It is believed to represent rebirth, growth, and renewal, marking the beginning of spring in the Northern Hemisphere.
Departing at twilight you will be guided by an instructor for a paddle out onto Strangford Lough and around the islands. With a favourable forecast, we hope to have a great view of the stars and Moon. We’ll aim to stop and have a chat with our physicist who will entertain you with lots of moon related facts and folklore. After that, we’ll return to base for some hot chocolate & treats.
