Mrs Maker's Mucky Ducks

WWT Castle Espie Wetland Centre, 78 Ballydrain Road, Comber, County Down, BT23 6EA
Two rubber ducks decorated to look like princesses

About

Let their imaginations run free in mucky ducky land! Using the beautiful setting and wildlife at WWT Castle Espie as their inspiration, children will create a fabulous rubber ducky keepsake under the guidance of local artist Kerrie, aka Mrs Maker.

They will get to customise their own little rubber ducky after thrashing out some ideas with Mrs Maker. Children will then be encouraged to go wild with paint pens, sticky gem embellishments, showers of glitter and so much more.

As the ducks dry, the children will then build up their ducky's personalised packaging, ready for their ducky to be boxed up for adventures around WWT Castle Espie afterwards, should you wish to explore the reserve.

Open to all levels of crafters, suitable for primary school aged children.
