The Argory was built in the 1820s and its hillside location has wonderful views over the gardens and 320 acre wooded estate bordering the River Blackwater. This former home of the MacGeough–Bond family has a splendid stable yard with horse carriages, harness room, acetylene gas plant and laundry. Take a stroll around the delightful gardens or for the more energetic along the woodland and riverside way-marked trails.

Please note that throughout June the coffee shop, gift shop and house are open Wednesday until Sunday from 12:00 - 17:00.

The grounds (for walks) are open daily from 10:00 - 17:00. House: admission by guided tour, last tour one hour before closing.

Open Bank Holiday Mondays and all other public holidays in Northern Ireland. Courtyard café and shop open 12:00 - 17:00, half-term (16-17 February). Closed 25, 26 December and 01 January 2018.
