Join the RSPB NI Fermanagh team for a ramble at the rugged Aghatirourke nature reserve.
Following the trail to the Leggacurragh Gap, species we might spot include skylarks, sand martins and birds of prey.
At this time of year the reserve, which is part of the Cuilcagh Mountain Geopark, is also home to a wide range of plant life, like the rare fern known as moonwort. As well as discovering more about nature, there’ll also be a chance to explore some of the geological features on the reserve, including a small cave nestled off the beaten track.
Although this walk won’t be to the summit of the mountain, suitable footwear and clothing are essential. All money raised through this event will go back into giving nature a home in Northern Ireland.
