General information

Ballykelly Forest

Various short routes are available in the forest on the southern and northern side of the A2 just west of Walworth and Ballykelly. Popular with walkers, dog walkers and runners. Also known as the Camman Wood, Ballykelly Forest was a popular haunt for highwaymen terrorising the coach road from Coleraine to Derry.

Route

From the car park a number of looped routes are possible on the southern section of the forest. The forest on the northern side of the road provides a short linear trail.

These walks are situated in a working forest environment and may be subject to diversion and closure from time to time.
