Birds can be viewed from various access points around Strangford Lough.
On the western shore -
Island Hill (Comber); Castle Espie (Comber); Reagh Iland (beside Mahee Island) and Whiterock.

On the eastern shore -
Tide Bank (Floodgates) Newtownards;Maltings (Mountstewart Road); Barrs Bay car park (Mountstewart Road); Gas Works (Mountstewart Road) and Greyabbey.

Turn off the A21 Comber to Newtownards Road towards the shore of the Lough. Follow National Trust signposts to Island Hill Nature Reserve, continue along the Ringcreevy Road for approximately 1 mile.
