We are a non-profit organisation whose aim is to promote fitness, a healthy lifestyle and quality of life through water based activities in Belfast city.
Cable and Wake is open to the public but booking is essential! Every Wednesday afternoon we are booked by Queens Waterski and Wakeboard club. If you are a student from any university then you can enjoy discounted rates. We are also a training facility for Ireland's National Wakeboard Team.
Open for bookings through the winter, we have access to all the winter kit you need including 5/3 O'Neill wetsuits, impact vests, gloves, hoods and neoprene socks!
This has been a successful first year for Cable and Wake, open to the public since April. We also took part in events across the country, Cable and Wake were sponsored by Belfast City Council for Belfast Maritime Festival where we offered 'come and try it' sessions free to the public as well as demos from local wake boarders! A feature of Lough Fest in County Fermanagh where we put on a spectacular show of some of Ireland's best wake boarders as well as 'come and try sessions'!
Located at the stern of the famous slipways where the Titanic and Olympic were built in the heart of the Titanic Quarter, Belfast- a site that is a custom built amphitheatre for water sports!
All our cable operators are wake boarders themselves so they can give you the best tips to get you up on the water!
We coach all levels of wake boarders. Our coaches include Jonny Crawford currently ranked 7th in the World Championships-Busan, South Korea- Masters.
For the more seasoned rider we have two obstacles in place. These include a beginner to intermediate kicker and a slider.
