The ice-cream was named after Maud, the head of the family at the time. Today the brand has over 18 varieties including the famous Pooh Bear (honeycomb and vanilla ice-cream) and Belgian Chocolate.
Café Mauds serves a range of homemade foods including fresh crepes, home baked lasagne, pies, pastries, scones and cakes. They specialise in made to order crepes with sweet and savoury fillings and an extensive variety of alternatives too.
