Cargoes Café & Bistro was set up in 1993. Situated on the Lisburn Road, Cargoes was one of the first cafes in Belfast to serve cappuccinos and espressos and offer a modern menu. Over twenty years later, Cargoes are more than ever determined to give their customers varied and interesting food both in the café and bistro.
Cargoes has been nominated twice for the UKTV Food Awards and has also won the Observer Best Breakfast award in 2007.
In the kitchen we prepare daily from fresh, soup, salads, hot dishes, savoury tarts and desserts .
At Cargoes the cooking has many influences but they are, above all, concerned with taste, flavour and the use of good, fresh ingredients. Cargoes believe that food is one of life’s greatest pleasures and the aim here is to share the enjoyment of the diversity of food and cooking with their customers.
